Taxi from Prague airport

a taxi will cost around 600-700kc or a private shuttle will cost much the same. by public transport you can take the 119 bus the Nadrazi Veleslavin (last stop) then into the metro to Mustek and walk from there. Personally I think a taxi or private shuttle is the best bet for new visitors to the city. Mustek metro can be very confusing as it is an interchange for the green and yellow line and has numerous entrances and exits. I still get a bit confused when using it.

I used Prague Airport Transfers. They take Czech Koruna or Euros. I did the shuttle and paid €11.70. It was shared, so took longer, but it was fine. Also got a bit of a tour throughout the city, as I was last to be dropped off. They also offer private rides. I believe the cost is €25.

I think that is the best way,safe to your accomodation and then you can get a chance to get the lie of the land. you might use muskek metro when in the city so ahve a wander down there and you will see what i mean, also loads of shops and a supermearket all underground.BTW they do have the nicest metro toilets in the city,just refurbished last year.

Has anyone used the Airport Express bus?

I have on a few occasions mainly to get to the airport from the train station. only useful if you are staying nearby.It is run by the train company and not by the local integrated transport system and last time I used it cost 60kc.
I f you let us know where you are staying we can maybe suggest the easiest way by public transport

unclegus - we have a group of 7 from the airport and have always taken the hotel's transportation which is about 880czk or $40 US. Do you recommend this, Uber or I think you said you knew of a good transportation service. Looking for most reliable yet affordable. Thanks!

this is the company I usually recommend,actually run by an expat American and his Czech wife.they are charging 800 kc for up to 8 people.
880 Kc for the hotel transport is pretty damn good and I would certainly consider it.

Cheryl, you should be able to walk to the hotel from the train station. the bus stops on Wilsonova a really busy road, this is the old entrance to the station so head into the station down 2 levels and out the main doors ,check the route on Google maps, should take less than 10 minutes..
do not try to cross Wilsonova on foot,it is a crazy busy road.
