I’ll be in Prague in early June (solo) and would love recommendations for a special supper one night. Open on cuisine (e.g. Czech, Italian, Indian, German, etc.); I’m a meat eater but not fan of super-heavy meals/stuff like the Czech dumplings, cabbage. Budget: up to $50 (don’t drink). Would love a place with outdoor seating (not required) and lovely architecture would be a plus (art nouveau or deco). Place doesn’t need to check all the boxes - just wanted to give specifics to help you understand what I like. Thanks in advance!!
We had two excellent dinners in Prague. One was Bila Krava and the other was Bredovsky Dvur. We were there in the winter, so I do not know if they have an outdoor seating. Although, Bredovsky Dvur does have sort of an atrium area where you feel like you are outside as it is all glass. But for true outside dining, I am unsure.
Thank you so much! At a quick glance, Bila Krava particularly looks nice.
We ate on a roof near the castle (base of building was in the lower city, roof near castle level), but it was over $50. It was worth it. Long ago, so no name handy.
Municipal House Restaurant. Czech with a hint of French. Art Nouveau all the way but no outdoor option.
Check out Cafe Cafe. We discovered it after having a subpar dinner elsewhere. We had an amazing dessert and it was a great place to hang out. Everything goes here. Then grab a gelato at Angelato across the street. You won't feel weird being solo here.
