Slav Epic

Just read RS's September News letter and he mentioned that the Epic is now on tour for the next 2 years. I had counted on this in my Itinerary. We will be there for 3 days . We are doing the Castle, Jewish Quarter, Vysehrad Walk, Wenceslas Walk. Will have been to many Museums in Italy and Budapest before going to Prague so I would not relish another one even though I did want to see the Epic.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to the Mucha Museum to see the rest of his work. It's bite sized and worth a visit. Also worthwhile is booking a behind the scenes tour of the Municipal House (tickets are sold online).

The Mucha museum is very good and also has a great shop it is quite small and just a short walk from Wenseslas Square. There is also a Mucha stained glass window in St Vitus in the castle area..
I have been lucky enough to see the Slav Epic twice and it truly is a stunning exhibition .Hopefully it will be back on display sometime in the next few years.
The Municple house tour is a great suggestion,i often go there for a drink when I am in the city and have done a tour of the building as well as attending a few concerts there ,beautiful building and worth just visting one of the cafes bars or restaurants for a snack or a meal just to enjoy the lovely suroundings.

I visited Prague in 2015 and was quite excited about seeing the Slav Epic, took the metro to the National (Narodni) Gallery and at the ticket window there was the dreaded notice saying it was closed due to falling plaster in the gallery. So disappointed! But I love art and toured the museum and it was really quite an excellent experience after all, plenty of interesting paintings including some others by Mucha. I also enjoyed the Mucha museum. I got to the Castle Hill by walking over the Charles Bridge and the area called Mala Strana on either side of the bridge is worth a couple of hours' exploring.
