Hi everyone, looking for recommendations for a really nice restaurant in Prague to celebrate an anniversary. looking for traditional Czech food OR a Michelin restaurant. thanks for your help!
I assume you are referring to Prague.
Cafe Louvre (4.5* ) is a classy place with a lot of history. Kafka and Einstein ate here. Lots of Czech dishes, a little pricier than most.
U Pivrnce Zateka (4.7* ) is a really fun and funky place. I liked the artwork. We tried the Veprove Koleno, which is 1.3 kg of roasted pork knuckle in beer sauce. The original U Pivrnce (4.5* ) is just about a block away, but was booked up.
Check Google Maps for reviews and photos, etc.
Good luck.
Hi, thanks so much and yes it is Prague (I have added that to my question) I appreciate your recommendations and look forward to trying several.
Cafe Imperial. Gorgeous dining room. Czech food. I hit it on a food tour in Prague and liked it a lot. Our guide said a reservation is required to eat there. https://cafeimperial.cz/en/homepage/
If you are a fan of Art Nouveau architecture, the restaurant at the Municipal House is glorious. https://www.restauraceod.cz/en/introduction
consider the "Ginger & Fred" restaurant in the Dancing house. Ginger & Fred Its a modern whimsical building that looks like two people dancing. The restaurant on top is pretty cool.
