We'll be in Prague for 3 days in mid June. I love to learn about life during the Soviet Era. So many tours to chose from. Any recommendations?

Not specifically a communism tour per say, but we just got back from Prague and had a wonderful walking tour with Darina Krajakova. She's very well versed in the long history of the city and we found her stories of living behind the iron curtain to be very interesting. From life under communism as a child to living through the student protests and velvet revolution, Darina makes the sites of Prague feel more personal. She also gave us great tips on additional sites to see, how to time things to avoid the crowds, and how to maximize our time in the city. Highly recommend. [email protected]

You may also want to contact Jason at Living Prague Tours. I took his daily Prague tour--excellent and limited to 6-8 people--but he also does private tours as well. Perhaps he could do something for you.
