Rafting Trip in Cesky Krumlov vs Trebon

Hello,
My family plans to visit both Cesky Krumlov and Trebon in July, and I see that there are rafting options in both towns, and I'm trying to determine if one is 'better' than the other. In Cesky Krumlov, we were planning to do the 3-hour trip to the Abbey, and in Trebon, we would follow Rick's advice and follow the 7.5 mile portion described in the guidebook.

Has anyone done both? I'd really appreciate insight into how these experiences differ, and whether it might be worth considering doing both.

Thank you!

I have done neither but I would go for Cesky Krumlov. River there is swift. In Trebon the current is very slow, you will have to paddle to move.

I can only comment on Cesky Krumlov. We really enjoyed our canoe trip a few years ago in early May. We intended to do the longest route, but the rental agent talked us out of it, explaining that the last leg of the trip was through ugly industrial landscape. About halfway we stopped at what I guess was a campground where they sold beer and sausages and that was fun. When we went the river seemed quite shallow in spots and not particularly rapid; but your weather conditions and mileage will vary. It was an easy and manageable trip for inexperienced canoeists. Have fun and safe travels.
