We are in Cesky Krumlov for 3 nights in late August. This looks a fun thing to do to escape the day tripping crowds.
We were thinking of doing the 3-4 hour trip either from Piskarna or to Zlata Koruna. Hoping it’s pretty and shows the area outside the town.
Any ideas on this? Is it worthwhile?
I personally like any of the routes that finish in CK. It means you don't have all the messing about of securing the boat and gear while you wait for your transport etc. If you are kayakers you'll like the Piskarna route. If you are new to rafting then go with the raft because you'll find it comfortable going through the sluice gates on the weirs. Not so many people around on weekdays. On weekends you get a build-up of people waiting to cross the weirs especially if somebody turns over. Good fun though.

My husband and I are kayakers but we are going with a friend who has no experience so it will be a small raft.
Piskarna was the route we were looking at for a Thursday so appreciate the tip of ending in Cesky Krumlov
Would this need booking in advance or just a couple of days before when we arrive in Krumlov?
