Private guide or tour company for visiting Terezin

He'll pick you up in his very comfortable van at your hotel; and return you to same after a fascinating (often grim, of course) day at Terezin.

My first response was a bit inaccurate. In our case, he asked that we meet him at the landmark Jan Hus statue in Old Town Square. Our AirBB was in a neighborhood that he felt could pose traffic issues in the morning (2 other couples were signed up.) We had easy and excellent public transport across the river and the rendezvous worked well. If you're lodging is more central than ours, you'll get the front door pickup. If you do book with him, be sure -- perhaps on the ride back to Prague -- to ask him about his personal family story with Judaism.

Another vote for Pavel Batel! Fabulous guide who is a wealth of information and is passionate about his subject matter. He truly makes the history come alive for his clients. Pavel's colleague, Anna, does private guides of the Jewish Quarter in Prague. She too is top notch! Highly recommend both of them for your visit to Prague.
