Hi - trying to decide whether to fly into Prague and stay a few days in advance of Danube cruise that picks up in Regensberg or to fly into Frankfurt and visit Rothenberg and the area before the cruise (eastbound from Regensberg to Budapest). The trip would be in late Oct. 2022. Realizing these are totally different experiences, I would appreciate any advice.

Prague is a better city of the two.

There are many trains from Prague to Regensburg. Getting to and from Rothenburg odt will be a bit complicated.

We have visited both and for a few days I’d say Prague for sure. Good rail connections would clinch it for me. Safe travels.
