We already know this website recommends PragueWalker for tours of Prague (and we've booked them). We also need a transfer from the end of our cruise in Passau to Prague. Has anyone used PragueWalker for a transfer, and how were they? Or should I be paying more and going with CK Shuttle or another company? Thanks!
Hi, never used them. I can recommend www.Prague-airport-transport.co.uk

Another company - German Rail. You can take a train from Passau to Prague. Regional trans through Plattling, Bayerisch Eisenstein, and Pilsen take 6h16min (driving, according to ViaMichelin will take 5h37min). you can purchase a Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket for two in Passau for 31,60€. That will take you to Pilsen in 2nd class. From there a Czech Rail ticket to Prague is 95 Kc (about 3,50€) per person, also in 2nd class.
Making that trip in 6 hours would probably depend on buying a ticket from Pilsen to Prague from the conductor on the train because you'll only have 11 minutes in Pilsen. However, if in Passau you buy a Servus Ticket for 20,00€ for two. That will cover you to Bayerisch Eisenstein. That station is right on the border. The other end of the station building is in Zelezna Ruda, Czech Rep. You'll have 32 minutes, plenty of time to buy your tickets to Prague for 199 Kc (about 7,35€).
Or, you could wait about 45 minutes longer in Pilsen and buy a ticket to Prague, then take SC 515 Pendolino, a nicer train.
