Prague Tram #22 Self Guided Tram Tour

I am wondering if anyone has done the Rick Steve's suggested self guided tram tour on Tram #22 in Prague recently? Was it worthwhile? Any changes to the route? Thinking it could be a fun way to spend our last afternoon in the city to catch any sights we missed. Thanks!

Tram 22 is just a regular city tram that happens to go along a route that stops close to many of the sights you may want to see in the city. We used it as well as several other routes to see everything and just get around! I thought it was worthwhile and very easy. Tickets are super cheap. The route doesn't change since it's on fixed tracks.

there is now a route 23 tram that follows much of the 22 route but using nostalgic trams. Buy yourself a 110kc 24hr ticket and jump on and off trams at will , you can even take them out to the suburbs of the city (all perfectly safe) and see other areas,

there is also the historical tram 41 (used to be 91) and it is great fun, real cheap at 35kc but your standard tickest don't apply to this tram.Only runs on Saturdays and Sundays.
there are some companies that will arrange an organised trip for you on this but seriously just fins the stops and jump on.

YouTube is great for previewing trams, train cab rides, bus rides (e.g. famous Bus 100 & 200 in Berlin). These previews help you decide where you want to tour and which transit to ride. But I think more importantly they inform and demystify a destination before travel. The YouTube videos were a big help with "learning" Istanbul before travel. And preparing for Madrid just a month before hip replacement, I could preview places with too many stairs. It helped me find a hotel with metro, high speed light rail, and bus stop connections all just 30' out the front door (Holiday Inn Pyramedes)! Just this week I "rode" Prague Tram 22 end to end. Try it; you'll like it.
