Prague or Krakow?

I am totally confused - I have been to Prague once back in 2006 and never after that. Excluding travel time I have 3 full days and very confused if I should go to Prague or Krakow. I am already in Europe and would go to either city on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this week (Aug 31, Sep 1 and Sep 2). I also have my little one with me and she is 5 years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Since you've already been to Prague, I'd suggest you visit Krakow, which is less touristy than Prague but just as rewarding.

Ditto with Carlos.
BTW. Over the past 25+ years and having visited 31 countries, Krakow was one of my most memorable visits. 4 nights there wasn't enough; time to go back (especially, when the 5 star cities are being a bit overrun with herds of visitors).
Safe travels.

If both are equal in the travel process (since you don’t say where you are), I would also vote for Krakow (and I love both places). Krakow is more open for a 5 year old to move - wider streets, bigger squares, less crowded. And lots to do and see.

I agree with the others. When I visited in 2018 Prague was so crowded with tourists. I felt I got much more of a feel for the real Krakow. Also in terms of convenience (since you’ll be traveling with a young child) it was easy to find seating in Krakow restaurants and really hard to do so in Prague when we were there.
