hi - We will be in Prague at the end of October and would love to see an opera or two. We have a few day trips planned and we hesitate to buy tickets in advance as we would want to be flexible with our return time from the day trips. Just wondering whether it is feasible to buy tickets last minute, whether in person or online? Does the opera sell tickets just before the show for "walk-ins"? And if we have to go straight to the opera, I'm hoping we wont stand out in casual, but clean, daytrip attire. Thank you.

Based on our experience, this shouldn't be a problem. There were a number of unused seats when we attended Tosca. But I'd check the website to see which operas will be performed at the three venues, and prioritizing based on your musical preferences.
There were many people dressed casually when we attended.
