I have too much I want to see and not enough time in Krakow. If I can only squeeze in one other day trip, which of these two do people recommend, Ceskey Krumlov or Kutna Hora? I will be there from 9/23 late afternoon to 9/28 6:00 PM. Going to Auschwitz/Birkenau, Eagles Nest tour, walking tours in all four areas of Krakow, including Jewish Quarter. Any ideas welcomed.

Your post is a bit confusing. It states you do not have enough time in Krakow, yet Prague is in your title. Eagles Nest is not close to either of those. What exactly is your itinerary, and where is your starting point for the day trip? Will you be spending any time in Prague?

Ceskey Krumlov or Kutna Hora?
For a day trip, Kutna Hora. Cesky Krumlov is too good for a 3 hour tour. But honestly, if neither excites you to the point to say "I gotta go to ..... " then do neither and put the day someplace else where you are short on time.

Thanks, everyone! I'm doing both. I spend 8 hours in Ceskey Krumlov, and another half day at Kutna Hora. This should be great and I'm really looking forward to both! A very full 5 days in Prague.
