Looking at going to Prague next year around March 20-April 3. Do you recommend this time? Too cold, not as pretty as leaves may not be on trees, etc? Any opinions would help. Thank you.
We were in Prague late March 2018. It was cold, but we had the appropriate clothes, so temperature wasn't a problem. I did miss the sun, the leaves on the trees, and the gardens in bloom. That being said, it was still a wonderful trip. We were lucky enough to be there the week before Easter, and the Old Town was full of Easter markets and festivities. I had never heard of Easter markets before, and have not seen them in other countries. So- if that's the only time you can travel, go. If you have some flexibility, wait a few weeks.
PS
If you're going to music concerts in the churches, make sure they have heat! We froze in one church; they had space heaters and heated seat pads, but it wasn't enough.
Safe travels!
late March was warmer than Mid may this year.
