Prague May 15 for 4 night

I just noticed that we will be in Prague during what appears to be a beer festival and a music festival. The websites looking interesting but any recommendations regarding these events would be greatly appreciated.

I have been to the beer festival many times since it started about 10 years ago, now held in Letna park it is certainly worth a visit. There is usually a great selection of beers available especially from the smaller tents and usually live music on ,in the last few years it has been a sort of battle of the bands competition but now I think they have reverted back to just good entertaining bands.
here are a few of my Trip advisor trip reports of my visits and what else I did during the time I was in the city.

there are a few other kicking about on trip Advisor. I have not been to a festival since 2013 just been in the city at the wrong time and I will be missing this years one as I am in Prague late March/April and then again late June /July.
hope this helps and if you want more info just ask.

if you want to find some great pubs to try a few beer have a look at the above link, lots of great places to go but by no means comprehensive .I love going to all the micro-breweries in and around the city and most will be listed on the above website but let me know where you are staying and I will hopefully be able to recommend places nearby or within easy transport reach.

Thanks so much unclegus for all the great information. I checked the websites for a couple of the hotels that you listed, the PAP and Chapin, both look great. I was just starting to research Prague/Czech Republic when I discovered the beer festival and decided to do the post. We'll be traveling via train from Budapest for our first time in Prague so any and all information is greatly appreciated.

the Chopin has now changed name now EXE City Park but a good area to base yourself, have stayed there twice over the years but I now stay in the Dejvice area of the city as I prefer it,not great for a first time visitor but brilliant for me.
The public transport system in Prague is superb and you will be able to get to the Beer festival site easily b within 20 minutes. tram stop is called Sparta( beside Sparta Prague Football ground) and you will see the festival tents from the tram stop, justb down from the festival site is letna Park beer garden a favourite spot for me during the better weather, fantastic views over the city.
