Prague - long weekend with tweens?

We are planning a long weekend in Prague this fall with our kids (11/13) who are intrepid travelers. My husband and I have been to Prague several times before and absolutely loved it, but before kiddos.

Any advice on best centrally located neighborhoods/hotels/apartments to stay this time around, sights or experiences not to miss?

In 2016, I happened across a new-to-me water activity called "water zorbing", just a five-minute walk from the Charles Bridge and almost directly across from the Pension Attractive. I didn't find a website for it in Prague, but you can see what it is in the video in the link below. I think it's an activity any kid - young or old - would greatly enjoy. I'd also highly recommend the Pension Attractive.

Just to point out that the water zorbing company on the Vltava by the Charles Bridge is not running. There's still Paddleboarding on the river and boat hire. Do the "tweens" have any special interests?

We definitely want to do a music performance somewhere cool and evocative. The kiddos are curious and up for most things - cool historical sites with a fun backstory (like most of Prague!), incredible architecture (ditto), cool museums (e.g. they loved the museum of ancient technology in Athens). They love mythology, science, astronomy, history, and music. They also like walking tours, going to interesting restaurants as long as the meals are not too extended, festive atmospheres, amazing views, and of course, desserts of all kinds :)

I'd do a music concert at the Spanish Synagogue (great venue but closed Sat). I'd spend an early evening at the beer garden at Riegrovy Sady (Festive). I'd have coffee/cake at the Municipal House Cafe (Art Nouveau). I'd have a meal at Bricks (riverside scenic). I'd hire a Pedalo on the river (fun to pedal around Shooters Island). But really it may be that you want to hire a car and spend a day in Plzen because Techmania sounds more like what you are looking for. It's a 1 hour drive from Prague but closed on Mondays. https://techmania.cz/en/visit-us/science-center/exhibitions/
