Hi all. This is my first time ever in Europe and am meeting my husband who will be on leave for 6 days. Looking to spend maybe 2/3 days here. Is early November a good time? Will the city be running? What are some must see sights you would recommend?

Just note that November is officially winter season here so parks and gardens will largely be closed (Imperial Gardens will be open). That also means bike tours and river cruise options are reduced. There'll be Autumn markets to try hot drinks but basically plan your evenings for great food and late entertainment i.e. jazz clubs and lounge bars. More places are closed on Mondays. If you are here around the 11th look out for ST Martins Festival special meals.
