Steps off Prague’s Old Town Square are the spacious Tynska 7 Apartments surrounding a courtyard. Can’t beat the location. Listed at Hotels.com and Booking.com

Another vote for Hotel Residence Agnes . Stayed there August 2019 and will never stay anywhere else when we are in Prague. They will pick you up and take you to train station for free during you stay (we had 2 days trips). Take you anywhere you want to go as they have a driver (does only operate up to a certain time at night). People wonderful as well as food and free drinks.

A 3 star hotel right in the middle of the Old Town is the Palác U Kočků.

Everyone has a favorite. I once stayed at the Hotel Ventana and for location there may not be a better hotel. For quality it was among the best hotels I have ever stayed in. For cost ........... well ......... there are cheaper options. But given the mass of tourism in Prague it was nice to be able slip in and out of a nearby sanctuary from time to time.

For me the best hostel is Luma Terra - it is new, nice and in the center of Prague :)
