My 16 year daughter and I are heading to Prague in June. Any recommendations for a hotel or flat? We’d like a nice neighborhood where we can walk to many sites and restaurants.
Thank you for your help.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Julian last September.
We loved our apartment at Residence u Mecenase - we had the studio. There are one and two bedrooms as well. Perfectly located!
My sister and I stayed at The Julius in March. Fabulous location. Fabulous staff. Fabulous breakfast.
Hotel Residence Agnes! Stellar reviews all around.
2nd vote for Hotel Residence Agnes. We loved our stay there. They picked us up at the train station when we arrived and took us there for our day trip out of the city. Their driver also took us and dropped us off at the castle and dinner 2 nights (reservations they made for us). All included with our stay. Excellent breakfast. Best customer service we have ever had with all our travels.
My mistake. I stayed at the Julius. I will correct my post above.
We also enjoyed our stay at Hotel Julian. https://www.hoteljulian.com/en/
I stayed at Hotel Hastal. It's a couple of blocks from Old Town Square but far removed from its chaos and is located on a church square. It's popular with Americans and Rick Steves folks, which may be good or bad, depending on your perspective . Very good breakfast except the coffee was a little weak for my taste. Great, friendly local coffeeshop (Onesip) a few doors down and a reasonably-priced grocery a block in the opposite direction. It's on the same street as Hotel Agnes. I narrowed down to these 2 hotels; one of my guides with whom I had quite a bit of pre-trip interaction said she thought Hastal was better. Google reviews: Agnes 5 stars, Hastal 4.7 stars.
Unrelated to your question, but if you haven't discovered the Honest Guide channel on YouTube, it offers a ton of information on Prague -- restaurants, cafes, scams, off-the-beaten path places to see. https://www.youtube.com/c/HONESTGUIDE
