Vaclav Storek was one of the private guides recommended by Rick Steves. We hired him for two 4 hour guided walking tours of Prague and could not have been more pleased. Having him as our tour guide made the two days we spent in Prague especially delightful as we were able to see all the important sights and some off the beaten path. He provided us with printed information and some Czech vocabulary. Mr. Storek has a degree in history which enabled him to provide us with fascinating information about Prague and the Czech Republic. His knowledge of architecture is excellent and again we learned a great deal. His personality is warm and enthusiastic and we felt we had a new friend after our time together.
Vaclav Storek was helpful even before we met him. I inquired where to find an honest taxi driver and he e-mailed a photo of "Fair Place" outside the railway station, the AAA yellow taxi cab, along with a phone number and the price we should expect to pay. This extra help made us feel comfortable when we arrived in Prague late afternoon after several hours on the train.
