We are interested in buying some jewelry with prague garnets. We actually arrived today and I see so many stores have garnet along with souvenirs but I don’t trust the quality.
Can anyone recommend a reputable jewelry shop or store that sells quality garnets in Prague?

I dont know about garnets, but if you're interested in moldavite (aka vlatavina) gems, there are plenty of stores there. The one I remember was the Modavit Museum shop. It's a green stone created by a meteor impact.

Unfortunately, not so much research. Bit of an impulse thought of a gift for someone. But the czech “bohemian “ garnets are much more affordable (I believe) than the garnet gemstone people typically consider. Thanks for the info page on garnets. Found out these would be the pyrope type.
