Prague for carp?

Hi--can anyone recommend a restaurant in Prague that's known for doing a fine job with carp? I'm always looking for new ideas on how to prepare what some (ok, a few) consider the king of the fighting game fish.

never had it in a restaurant but only in friends home .Many restaurants serve it and the way it is managed makes it a much cleaner taste than many would think.
There are several carp farms about the place ,I did visit one in Tabor several years ago and the carp is moved from feeding ponds into clear ponds and not feed for weeks maybe months before the fish is sent to market.in some of the bigger shops and at markets they have tanks of the fish for you to pick and they kill them and prepare them for you on the spot, they also do this for fresh trout.
It is usually served with potato salad ,probably my least favourite accompianment to any meal.

In my years as a fly fisherman I have only seen one recipe for cooking carp.

Take a clean cedar plank. Clean the carp very carefully. Secure the carp on the plank flesh outward. Bake in front of an open fire. When the carp is tender, throwaway the carp and eat the cedar plank!

Carp and potato salad is the traditional Christmas Eve dinner in C.R. When you think about carp you think asian carp and you are right, does not taste good at all. Carp from south bohemian ponds taste much much better and that's the one you will eat in Prague.

alright, but my question is, where to go? In many big cities, there's a restaurant that's considered the best beef steak house. In Vienna, for tafelspitz, people point you toward Plachutta, where Emperor Franz-Joseph used to sneak off to incognito for a bite. Is there such a place in Prague for carp? A place with an exalted carp reputation? I am all ears.

I had a good carp in Rybarsky klub restaurant. It's on the river bank. Address: U Sovovych mlynu 1, Praha 1. You can find many more on google but I don't have personal experience with them.
