Prague Cruise?

Wondering if anyone has done dinner and/or night cruise around Prague? Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!

We just returned from Prague last week and did a one hour cruise with Prague Boats. They are located across the river from the castle. We decided that we just wanted to see the night lights, and food was not that important. Check the sunset time because you want it dark when you go so you can experience the city with the lights on. You can book online. Because we didn't eat, we sat on the upper deck at the front and just enjoyed floating the river.

At Prague-boats you want to look at the "Restaurant Cruises" and you are specifically looking at the "Crystal Dinner" which guarantees you are on the modern glass-top cruiser with a la carte menu. What they call the "Dinner Cruise" is on the older split-level cruisers with the buffet. Look out for the ECO cruises which are on an electric boat but these do not offer main meals, only snacks and drinks.

We did a dinner cruise in Prague several years ago and probably would not do one again The boat, dinner, and music were fine, but you don/t travel very far down the river. The boat spent more time stationary waiting for boats to have a turn in the lock than actually cruising.. And this was in both directions. It was disappointing.

We generally don’t tell people not to do something but it’s not a dinner cruise. It’s dinner on the water. I would not call it a scam it just doesn’t meet the cruise definition. There is plenty of good restaurants in town and a bunch cheaper.
