We will be in Prague during December, and we would like to take a horse-drawn carriage ride with our family. There will be four adults and one toddler. Does anyone have suggestions on a company or an independent person that offers this? If possible, we would like to book in advance to ensure that we have this on the itinerary. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
As I noticed there were always (during a day) carriages waiting for customers on Old Town Square. Unless something changed you should not have problem. It seems to me that they want you more than you them.
They have them in Poland too, where I'm from. I don't think it's the kind of service you need to book in advance. These are mom and pop types of people that don't really run their business on a website (that's a lot of overhead and overkill). You simply show up to where the carriages are lined up and negotiate the fare with the first one in line, just like a taxi.

I have always seen these carriges avilable in Old Town Square every time i have passed through there, usualy available from around 10am .
