Prague Airport Shuttle - no contact. Time for a Plan B?

Before our trip started we checked several options for transportation from the airport into Prague. "Prague Airport Shuttle" was what we opted for, based on reviews (including here) and the basic/straightforward info on their website. Well, it's now about 24 hrs from our arrival and I've contacted them by two of the methods they recommend (their email form/link & SMS). So far, no response from either mode. Hmmm....

Not totally ready to give up but considering a Plan B.

We have several recommendations for cobbling together public transit to our AirBnB apt but arriving with rolling bags into a new city, that would not be our preference. Our host said to avoid airport taxis -- mentioned Uber (which we've not yet used & would mean getting cz cash at the airport) or Tick Tack Taxi.

Any other ideas? ... or should I hope the shuttle folks got my messages and will simply be waiting outside baggage claim? (ha!)

Continue with your Plan A and see if it works.
Plan B would be to take Czech Railways' public bus service, AiportExpress, from Terminal 1 to the train station--Praha hlavní nádraží. There, you can get on the Metro C (underground) or go outside the station and take a tram all over town. Or, take a cab from the train station. Anyway it goes, you'll need to obtain local currency from a bank ATM at the airport.

what website did you try to book through, was it the .cz one.
There is another Prague airport shuttle, run by an American and his Czech wife, I have used them many times and have never let me down.

Yes, that's the one I used. And (whew!) I have now received a reply. So Plan A is a 'go'. (Too restless!! It looks like it's raining everywhere from Malta to Prague today -- nothing much to do except pack & fret.)

As follow-up. We were contacted shortly after my post. No issues at all. It was a treat to be 'one of those' greeted at arrivals with a name-on-sign!! And to not need to figure out public transport, AND navigate with luggage, in a new city. I guess we're getting old. Sit back and relax, right to our door.

It was a woman -- so I assume not Chris. She was very helpful -- stayed at our apt door until we made contact with the host (since we were arriving over an hour early).
