Prague Airport (or near) accommodations

We are four people traveling together and will be coming from Cerveny Kostelec, which is East of Prague. We are looking for suggestions for accommodations near the Prague airport. We need to be at the airport Saturday morning in September at 10:30 am for a 1340 international flight. Suggestions: should we book a hotel at the airport? Near the airport? We have a rental car which we will be returning that morning before our flight. We could stay in Cerveny Kostelec the night before our flight, but we were a little concerned about the 2 hour drive on flight home day. We have not been to the Czech Republic so we are not familiar with the roads.
Ideas?

When I have to be at the airport in Prague early I usually stay at Marriott. From there just about 5 minutes walk on covered walkway. If you have GPS or a good road atlas you can stay in Cerveny Kostelec and save yourself money.

I second the Marriott...it's right in the airport, attached to the rental car facility, and is a quick, 3 minute walk to the terminal. Super convenient!

Some in our group stayed at the Holiday Inn near the airport and they had free transportation to the airport. We are flying out at 6:30 am so we found this hotel INSIDE the airport -https://www.prg.aero/en/rest-fun-center for about $70 for a double room. Holiday Inn and other hotels were all over 170 Euros per night.

I did not know that Prague Airport had rest fun center. I think I stayed in something similar in Schiphol in Amsterdam. It was called Yotel and rooms where incredibly small. My suitcase would not fit there, fortunately it was checked all the way. I had a long layover there. Maybe your room in Prague will be bigger.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn near the Prague airport on 5/9/2018 before our return flight to the USA the following morning. We returned our rental car at the airport that evening, and then walked about 10 minutes back to the hotel (we had previously checked in and dropped our bags in the room). In the morning, we took the airport shuttle which only took a couple of minutes to get to our terminal. The room and hotel overall were nice and convenient and we would use it again if returning to the Czech Republic.

If you are dropping off a car at Prague Airport you head for Car Park C (on the left as you approach the terminal buildings) but at the entry you'll see the lane for "Rental Cars Only". An obvious point but do check that your rental company has drop-off at the airport. If so then the main rental car booths are open mostly 0800-2200 but you can drop a car at the airport at any time if the hire provider has an agreement with the airport rental contractor that works 24 hours. Note the speed limit on the airport road is 40km/h. Personally I'd go for the Marriott as it has a nice bar and restaurant and it's a 60 second walk to the terminal.
