Prague accommodation recommendation

I'm traveling to Prague for 5 days and am looking for an affordable quiet hotel recommendation in the city center (thinking Old Town area) close to walk to most sights.

In the lesser quarter but an easy and enjoyable walk across the bridge to old town. Much quieter and less touristy part of town. Amazing hosts (took care of laundry, made dinner reservations). Old style B&B in all the best ways!

We stayed at the Hotel Hastel which is a RS recommendation. A 5 minute walk to the city center.

We also stayed at Hotel Hastel. Its been at least 7 years, but we liked the accommodation, the location excellent, breakfast good. Huge room. Well priced and quiet.

If the Hotel Hastal is booked then look for the Maximilian, Residence Agnes and Monastery Garden (formerly the Casa Marcello) which are all in the same area.

Carrie,
We stayed at the Hotel Metamorphis in 2018. Great location on the edge of Old Town, great breakfast, does have stairs, but we loved the service and location. I don't remember how we found the hotel. I do remember that we stayed three nights, and that gave us a free taxi from the airport, compliments of the hotel. At the time, the RS Guide mentioned that the taxi drivers were a little untrustworthy, so I appreciated a taxi provided by the hotel. The taxi driver was standing by the luggage area with our names on a card. I loved Prague. When are you going?

Hotel Residence Agnes is our go to place in Prague. Stellar staff who provide excellent service. Our room was on the top floor, tucked back in a corner, so it was very quiet. Highly recommend!
