why have you decided to visit Prague,surely you must have some idea of what you want to see,.Have a look at Prague.net for some ideas and intineraries.
where are you staying? Give me a location and i may be able to help you find good places to eat, no point in me recommending my favourit place in Dejvica when you might be staying in Zizkov

Unclegus, I would love your recommendations for good places to eat lunch near the Jewish quarter and good places for dinner near old Town. Thank you!!

right opposite the Old cemetery, not fine dining but great classic Czech food, well presented at reasonable prices, service in my opinion can vary.
http://www.kozlovna-apropos.cz/ closer to the old town but also close to the jewish area, part of a chain of pub/ restaurants run by the Kozel (goat) brewery,good food good service again not fine dinng ,try their duck burger for something different. Seriously so many great places in that area but these are 2 that I have personally experienced within the last few months and Kolonial is a place I keep going back to.
