At age 74, mobility is an issue. How much to hire a car with knowledgeable driver for a 6 hour tour?
This could be for central city, or some attractions within 2 hour drive.
We are booked central Prague.
Is the tram + hop on/hop off bus a good alternative? Consider cost and convenience/time flexibility.
the main sites in Prague are all Pedestrianized so getting transport into these areas is almost impossible.
HoHo but is totally useless and cannot access the pedestrianized areas though many of the trams and metro will get you quite close.
Plenty of places within 2-3 hours and an organised tour might suit you for this .
