My husband and I have a flight from Copenhagen to Denver on January 1st that leaves at 1:20pm on Icelandair. Our morning flight with Czech Air for that day from Prague to Copenhagen was cancelled and there is nothing I can find at any price that will arrive in Copenhagen before 1pm. So what would you do? Take the train (we won't have a rental car)? Leave Prague a day early and fly into Copenhagen the night before (we arrive in Prague from Budapest early on the 29th)? Something else that I am not thinking of?
Leave Prague a day early and fly into Copenhagen the night before. To get there by any other means you would have to leave even earlier. Copenhagen is simply too far from Prague.
I would fly into Copenhagen a day early. I see there is a morning flight on Norwegian Airlines for $50 USD. (I didn't check your dates though.) We have stayed at the Hilton at the Copenhagen airport. It is really convenient using a covered walkway from the hotel right into the airport. It is a nice hotel. If you are HHonors you can access the executive lounge, which is a good way to relax prior to a big travel day.
That was what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. It doesn't look like Norwegian has any flights on the 31st, but I am sure other airlines do. Thank you both for your input!
