I'm planning a trip to Poland and the Czech Republic in July. I have less time than I would like, so I'm trying to decide between a few days in either Olomouc or Trebon. Any advice?
Thanks

Trebon is quite small— only 8,000 residents— and fine for a day. Olomouc is larger with 100K residents, has more attractions and is filled with more history.
So, with two or more days to allot for a visit, Olomouc is the one I would choose.
Also, Olomouc is linked to both Prague (in 2:15) and Krakow (in 3.5 hours) by Supercity Pendolino and Leo Express trains.
Kenko, the statistics are helpful, but what did you enjoy or not enjoy about each?
I looked at a visit to Olomouc on the way to Prague a while back and I dont remember high-speed trains, guess i just missed them. And there were warnings of delays due to track work, but that was over a month ago and I bet things have changed. Did you do the Prague to Olomouc or the Krakow to Olomouc route?
Its all goof info as in the spring, I might make the trip.
And I havent been to either, but look up the train times. Trebon is small but combined with Telč, might work. Both look amazing. The reason I say look at train times is if you dont arrive until noon, and if you depart early; two nights is a day and a half. Maybe noy too much time depending on your style and a place off the tourist trail might be nice.
