Non touristy places within Prague

I've been reading up a lot on neighborhoods like Karlin, Vinohadry, and Vrsovice. I'd like to spend a day at least seeing sights in these places. So far I have the Havlicek Gardens in Vrsovise that look nice but I would love to hear what places you visited that we a bit off the beaten path but still in Prague.

you might find this interesting.
Lots of nice areas away from the tourist hoards. I stay in Dejvicka whenin the city which I love , main part of the University is there ,some lovely building bit the great pubs of the area are what I really like.Karlin is quite a busy working area and very interesting some lovely building and there is a nice square with an interesting church. there is a pedestrian tunnel from the Karlin area under the Vitkov hill to the Zizkov area and worth doing that to see some interesting areas. Climb Vitkov hill and visit the Museum and the tomb of the unknown soldier and at the bottom of the hill is the Army museum which is really good.
I go walking in the Hostivar area some nice places and I head over and walk round a man made reservoir .easy to get buses or trams back to the centre.
Divoka sarka is a lovely park area towards the airport last stop on the 20 and 26 tram great place for a stroll.
Havlickovy sady is worth a visit and there is a lovely vineyard there with a restaurant in the middle of it.

funny enough I was just taking to a friend last night who is visiting Prague with me in August and we were talking about this place and how much we enjoyed visiting there a couple of years ago, not a huge choice of food but very good and wine from the grapes grown around you is never a bad thing.
so hopefully this have given you a few ideas.
