Guidebooks will tell you to take tram 22 up to the Prague Castle. But, anybody visiting Prague before April 2023 should be aware that because of line repairs Tram 22 will not be going as far as Prague Castle until at least April 1st. If you are planning on using public transport the option in February/March is to go to the Malostranska metro station and then catch tram 32 going up the hill two stops to the Castle rear entry. When the work has finished it will revert to the original 22 line. Hope that helps.
