I read about a direct night train from Prague to Krakow, but can't find a train with private sleeping compartment. Did anyone take it ever? What was your experience? Can you share a link?
Czech National Railway, EN 443, dep 10:14 pm, arr 6:10 am,
6-person couchettes only. No private compartments.
Train 443 does convey a through sleeping car to Krakow and Warsaw as well as a couchette car and a seating car.
The sleeping car is Car 354, the couchette car is 355, and the seating car is 356.
All three are detached at Bohumin, and then attached to train EN406 (started at Munich), while you sleep.
The stop at Bohumin is from 0220 to 0300.
Departing Prague this is a 16 car train with several sections. The back three cars are car carrying wagons, of the 13 passenger cars Car 354 is normally the 8th from the rear.
Thank you.
I am on the Czech Drahy site and cant find a direct train, neither it gives me an option for a sleeping compartment.
This thread (3rd post down) tells you how to find the sleeper berths (this was looking in the opposite direction)-

If you put in the date and then a time of 2100 or 2200 the sleeper at 2214 should be the first result to appear.
