We're planning a new year's trip to Prague and considering renting a car to drive to Cesky Krumlov, Salzburg, Hallstatt, and back to Prague. We have learned about intl. driving permits, toll stickers for CR, vignettes for AUT, etc. We'd love suggestions about Prague new year's celebrations, car rental companies, tips on winter driving in Europe (already know how to drive in snow/ice after growing up in New England), and other collective bits of wisdom that might apply.
