Need help with my south bohemian itinerary before Vienna

We are travelling from Prague and moving towards south and then onto Vienna (all on public transport), hitting all the small towns I wanna see, until I found out the timing doesn’t work with Cesky krumlov’s castle’s hours…. So I really need some help here.
My itinerary: Prague, Tabor, Cesky Krumlov, Telc, Mikulov (on March 28), Vienna.

Unfortunately, Cesky Krumlov castle’s tour and theater tour doesn’t open till March 28, which means if I wanna make it. I have to be in Cesky Krumlov on March 28th before heading to Vienna.

Can anyone help me rearrange my itinerary? I tried Prague- Mikulov-Telc-Tabor-Cesky Krumlov, Vienna, but this route will require extra 4.5 hours of transport than my original plan.
I think I may have to drop one of the towns, maybe Mikulov or Tabor… don’t know which one to drop. Some insight/advice will be really appreciated! Or maybe suggestion of some other small pretty towns that can be fit into the itinerary better.

If it's public transport and you want to be in CK on the 28th then I'd drop Mikulov. I'd look at Prague-Tabor by train. Tabor-Telč OR Tabor-Písek by bus. Then see what's available going from either of those to Česke Budějovice. Then Česke Budějovice (CB) to Krumlov. Then you'll have to come back to CB for the transport to Vienna.

@Jason, thank you! This is really helpful!

My new itinerary: Prague - Tabor - Trebon OR Jindřichův Hradec - Cesky krumlov - Vienna.

There is no direct train between Tabor and Ceske Budejovice, so I've decided to connect at either Trebon or Jindřichův Hradec and make a short trip out of it.
Should I go with Trebon or JH? I prefer picturesque towns, but it will arrive on Monday when museums are mostly closed. And do you think 6 hours is enough for either of these towns?

I know JH better than Trebon but they are both equally picturesque so your choice will probably be based on the connection options. Trebon is known for it's freshwater fish so if you go there look for Restaurant Šupina.
