Need 2 bedroom 2 bath rental for 6 days in Prague

We will be there 6 nights in June 2019. I have checked all the usual suspects: Airbnb, Home Away, VRBO, Flipkey and Expedia. We really need a place with a washer and kitchen also, so I would prefer an apartment to 2 hotel rooms. I would like to keep the nightly rate under $300, and it would be a bonus if it had A/C.
Does anyone have any specific rentals they would recommend? Or a local agency? I have tried to dig through the forum and haven't found much.
Thank you!

Check booking.com as well. It does list some apartments. I don't know how prevalent air conditioning is in rental apartments in Prague.

How many people are you trying to house?

We are a family of 4. We just got back from a weekend trip to Disneyland and realized it is nearly impossible to accomodate all of us in one bathroom. The joys of having teenage girls!!

Definitely try booking.com. I don't know your exact dates but I see several 2 bedroom apartments in good locations well within your budget with A/C. How critical is it to have 2 baths - I have found that most 2 bedroom apartments in Europe usually only have 1 bath, so if 2 baths is critical you may have to settle for 2 hotel rooms or possibly 2 one-bedroom apartments in the the same building in order to get separate baths. I didn't search for washer but you can do that. All apartments will have kitchen.

Never mind--wrong city, though I went to Prague on the same trip. Hotels are somewhat more expensive there, so I hope you have good luck with the apartment search.

Based on the research I did for a May 2018 stay in Budapest, I believe you can find two small apartments within your budget if you can't snag a 2BR/2BA with air conditioning. Do read descriptions carefully. I ended up in a hotel (I had a much tighter budget than you) after considering an apart'hotel that turned out to have a microwave but no refrigerator. How silly is that?

Lane: I actually contacted the Prague stay people last week. I was put off because the pricing was quoted to me at one (lower) price, and then in a follow up email where I was trying to ask further questions, they did an "oopsie, we gave you the wrong pricing" and increased the prices by 15-20%. That kind of thing usually sends me running in the other direction, and I guess, in this case, it sent me to this Forum looking for help!

My sister and her family (2 adults and 2 kids) just stayed this past summer in an apartment in Prague, with two bedrooms and two baths, A/C, washer and dryer (albeit European ultra-slow models), and everything else they needed. It was centrally located and under your price point, and they were very pleased.

I'm not at home now to look up details, and I will be out of town for the Columbus Day weekend. If I don't come back to this thread by next week, send me a private message to remind me to give you the information.

Also remind me to give you tips on the Euro washers and dryers (I had forgotten to mention these details to them).

Hi,
My wife and I were just in Czechia in September with our three adult children (40s). We stayed in Letna. A short tram ride across the Vlatava from the Jewish district in Old Town. It was called Love to Live. I thought the price was quite reasonable considering it was Prague and close to the castle. It had three double beds, two showers, one with a toilet. We had five people and it was spacious. The one toilet for five caused no problems.

The location is easy to get to from the airport (bus 119 to Tram 26 to Letenske Namesti). esasy to get to from the main train station (tram 26 to Letenske Namesti)

A nice selection of cafes and restaurants in the area. We particularly like The Farm, an organic hipster place with very nice food.

Harold: I checked out that apartment and it was super cute and well located, but, alas, only had one bathroom. It is pretty key for us to have those two baths.
Thank you all for your suggestions so far. The one thing I need to do is still delve further into booking.com.
But, if anyone else has any suggestions, I am still very eager to hear them!

Thanks for the follow up!

I asked my sister, and you are right. The apartment I posted about above had two toilets, but only one shower. Since the toilets are in separate rooms from the shower, they were able to make this work with no difficulty (they are used to short showers), but I understand some really do want two showers.

A shame, since it's well located and they really liked every other aspect about it.
