We will be in Prague for 3 days and wondered how much we should get in CZK. Do most restaurants and gift shops accept credit cards? We're thinking about $100 usd.

Just have your cc at the ready. You can pretty much use your cc anywhere for anything. Split the difference and get 60.00. We were there for the Xmas markets and in August last year. Prices have gone up considerably. Stay out of the Old Town area to eat. Although there is a really good Mexican restaurant off the square.

Most companies here accept Visa but DIners/AMEX is less used. Always check with the staff to see if they accept your means of payment. Go to a bank ATM and choose "Other Amount" then enter 800. That ensures you'll get 4x CZK200 notes which will be much more suitable for buying little stuff.
