Has anybody used this service? Rick recommends it in his book. I have communicated with Mike via email and reserved a ride but there was no confirmation, other than him emailing me back and saying CONFIRMED. Trying not to be too skeptical but would love to hear other people's experiences.

We used Mike’s in June. It was a nice way to get to our hotel from the airport.

Just to update from my original post- We used Mike's to get from Prague to Cesky Krumlov. It was an exceptional experience. Mike was knowledgeable, worked to avoid traffic delays, very helpful with making sure we could gain access to our accommodations once we arrived in Cesky Krumlov.
Highly recommend using this service!!

Was Prague to Cesky Krumlov a day trip? And may I ask how much was the trip (RT)? In April will be in Prague for 4N.

Prague to Cesky Krumlov, for us, was not a day trip. I wouldn't recommend it as a day trip. Cesky Krumlov requires much more than a day, in my opinion. We were there for 2 nights and I could have easily done a third.
As for cost, it was $218 for three people. It might have been the same price for 4 people. I don't think he was charging per person. I figured by the time I paid the train fare for three people, the taxi to the station and from the station, and saving on us having to schlep the bags on each leg, the door to door service was WELL worth the cost. Plus Mike helped us get in touch with the apartment owner once we arrived in Cesky Krumlov, gave us background information about sites we were seeing along the way but also knew when to leave us be so I could close my eyes for a little while during the drive.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this service.

Slight disagreement from me; I wouldn't want to make Český Krumlov any more than a day trip. But it's sure a beautiful place. And it's very possible to do it from Prague in a day by bus.
