Medieval tavern and show

Any recommendations or experience regarding the medieval show at the U Krale Brabantskeho Tavern? Is seems a little hokey, but maybe fun nonetheless? It is very close to where we will be staying (5 nights, hopefully, September is along ways off--but who knows), so considering one evening close by might be worth it.

There are really only two options for this in the city. The one you mentioned in the Lesser Town and there's one called U Pavouka in the Old Town. If you are into fire breathing then it'll be brabantskeho for you hence the black ceilings. Medieval nights are absolutely not for anybody with any claustrophobia issues. Personally I like U Pavouka as you can get outside into the garden if you need a break. These are normally 2 hours with all the beer or wine you can drink from 8pm-10pm so the last hour can be tricky for toilets. Also make sure you do lots of neck twisting exercise before you come to one of these.

Can't speak to your question but would recommend the Ungelt Jazz & Blues Club just off the Old Town Square if you like music. I wandered in there one night and caught a great performance by Jazz Efterratt. One caveat - this occurred 17 years ago but both the club and band are still going.
