Lindner hotel Prague Castle

Wondering if anyone has stayed here. Looks pretty nice and right now they are having a sale of some sort, about 60US dollars per night including taxes for the four nights of our projected stay in Prague, Aug 28 thru Sept 1. Location isn't that centrally located, but not too far away either.

I have never stayed there but have passed it many times as I often walk in the Strahov area , looks really nice and it certainly should be quiet. You are only a couple of minutes walk away from the 22&23 tram stop that will get you into the old town in 10 minutes, castle area is completely walkable from there (all downhill) and of course the Strahov monastery complex right on the doorstep with several good bars and restaurants in that area. If you are getting a deal that suits you then I say go for it.
I will be in Prague during that time though leaving on the 30th.

"you are only a couple of minutes walk away from 22&23 tram stop, that will get you into the old town in 10 minutes, castle area is completely walkable from there (all down hill)". Let me get this statement little bit more accurate: if you go one direction by tram you get indeed to the old town (now let's correct the sentence) - here is a correction: castle area is completely walkable from here for reasonably fit person, almost all of it uphill. If you want to walk downhill you have to take the tram in the opposite direction than when you go to the old town and ge off at the stop Prazsky hrad, or Brusnice or Pohorelec. I have no slightest doubt that Unclegus knows Prague so well (certainly better than I and he is a Scottt and I am a Czech) that he knows all of it what I just wrote but certain things are clear to anybody who knows Prague but not to someone who does not know(you cannot walk downhill from the old town to the castle, in order to walk downhill you have to take tram the opposite direction.

Maybe it is the way I have written things or the way Llja has interpreted my answer but what I meant was that the castle area is perfectly walkable from the Hotel , from the old town even I as a pretty fit 63 year old would think twice about doing it.
