Last Posts NOT Showing

When I see that a Topic has a new post and it has a later date, I go to read it, it doesn't show up?!?!

For instance, a number of Topics have a posting showing May 17th & 18th Last Post date and when I click on the Topic, it is showing only March or April posts. The odd thing is the number of posts are correct w/o the latest date post factored in!

The answer is probably right in front me and I went to Profile to see if any settings apply but I am just not seeing it.

Is there a simple answer for this?

Yes, the answer is simple. When a response is posted on a thread by a known spammer, the spambot goes to work and removes it. Unfortunately that bumps the thread up to the top as if someone had posted on it. Also, if someone goes in and deletes or edits their old response that also bumps the thread up. There must have been a massive spam infection this weekend as there were tons of old threads bumped up.

Thanks Nancy, a shame it has to happened as I never considered that and makes sense!

I agree, yesterday was a mess and hard to weed out new posts from the 'bumped' ones. I gave up after a while, especially when I saw some people posting new responses on some of the old threads.
