Is there a good road between Krakow and Brno, Poland that goes through Slovakia, or is it best to drive through Olomouc? We are planning on spending one night in between Krakow and Cesky Krumlov, or would it be best to drive straight to Cesky Krumlov and spend three nights there?

There are plenty of options with good roads. It is a long drive for one day. I would recommend to spend one night on your way. If you want bigger towns or cities you can choose Ostrava, Olomouc or Brno. Smaller towns: Kromeriz, Uherske Hradiste or whichever other you like. Those which I mentioned are approximately in the middle of your way.

Thank you for your information. We do plan to spend one night on the trip. We are looking at Mikulov? Is it worth the extra time to deviate from the Brno route? If we decide to travel through Slovakia, is the route more scenic, and what are the roads like? Any suggestions on which roads to take? Welcome any input on places and how to get there.
