Krakow - Olomounc - Prague - Telc - Vienna trip

Hi all,
I am planning a trip this summer and cant figure out the best way. Here is my original plan:
Day 1. Train from Krakow to Olomounc, stay a night at Olomounc
Day 2. Train to Prague, stay at Prague
Then, I'd like to visit Telc,, after Telc, going back to Prague, and then go to Vienna by train.
What are the easy/fast way(public transportation) to Telc? Some people suggested to stopover in Telc, and go to Cesky Krumlov and stay there for the night. After that, go to Vienna.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

First - so you can use train and bus schedule: Olomouc is spelled Olomouc, not Olomounc. Your original plan looks good. But why won't you save some time and maybe money. Day 1 stays the same. Day 2.: bus/train to Telc from Olomouc - takes about 4 to 5 hours. Night there or not, bus/train to Cesky Krumlov, stay one night. Bus or train to Prague - stay there. Train to Vienna - just under 4 hours. Olomouc - Telc: bus with at least one change in Brno, or combination train/bus. Telc - Cesky Krumlov: bus, at least one change in Ceske Budejovice. Cesky Krumlov - Praha (Prague) direct or one change in Ceske Budejovice, Praha - Wien (Vienna): direct. One reason why I would do it this way is that Cesky Krumlov does not have good connection to Vienna by public transport. Most people use shuttle from C.K. to Linz then by train to Vienna. You can find your schedule here:
http://www.idos.cz Use combination bus and train. You can switch the website to English.

That is a great suggestion. More questions. how difficult is it to make the bus connections? I have read that chances of missing the connection bus is quite high...not sure if that is the true. I have heard Telc is very beautiful and what it scared me was the transportation getting to and back to "major" city from what I have read. Please advise.

Calvin,
usually it is not difficult to make the bus connection. I would say that chances of missing the connection bus is quite low. But low or high if God forbid it happens it could be quite annoying. To take it as easy as possible I would suggest stay at least one night in Brno. The second largest city in the C.R. with a lot of to see and do. That way you go from Olomouc to Brno by direct train or bus. Next morning by a direct bus to Telc, stay overnight there. Then from Telc to Cesky Krumlov by bus with one change in Ceske Budejovice. There are many buses and trains going from C.B. to C.K. If you miss your connection - highly unlikely - you won't have to wait long for another connection. Or you can take some time in C.B. to go and see pretty historical center or you can take a short ride by a trolleybus to visit and tour the original Budweiser brewery. I assume that you don't speak Czech but that should not be an obstacle. English is nowadays a mandatory language at school so you got high chance to communicate with younger people, just speak slowly, pronounce correctly and use common words.
