Kids in brewpubs?

Might be a dumb question but it wouldn’t be my first so here goes: do people take their kids to pubs (mine are 12 and almost 15) to have lunch or dinner (with beer for the grownups of course)!
I’ve seen a few of them recommended by unclegus and others and I’d love to have some Czech beer while we’re there, just didn’t want to be the weirdos bringing kids to pubs if nobody does that.
Thanks!

No problem whatsoever. Especially now when smoking was banned in public places (restaurants, pubs etc.). 15 years old boys are actually ordering beer themselves (if they don't look too young). Nobody is carding. Legal age is 18.

yes, there really is no problem during the day some of them have nice outdoor areas.

this place is way out in the suburbs (neighbourhoods) and even has an outdoor play area for kids though your kids might be a bit big for it.

this is not a micro brewery but will have several Czech beers on,Pilsner Urquell ,Gambinnus 10 and 12 and Kozel dark, might be some others as I have not been there since last summer apart from new years day for the Fireworks when they just had the one beer on . great place to sit with views over the city and climbing frames etc. nearby for the kids to expend some energy. some half decent street food for lunch (chicken, fries, kebab, sausages etc.) loads of families there.I will be there tomorrow if the weather is nice and several times over the next week if the weather is nice.

Great! That’s exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thanks everyone! And thank you for the recommendations! I’m making my must-do restaurant list now :)

Mostly you'll be using regular bars so no problem there. The only places where you might feel out of place is in an old-style Pivnice or Hospoda (and Unclegus knows a thing or to about them.....) where you might hear a bit of swearing but as its in Czech you would not be offended. Legally your kids cannot be "served" alcohol but nothing to stop them trying some, especially the dark beer option. And by the way, unless Ferrin is a popular name you know me already as you've booked a tour with me. Have a good trip. Jason.

Hah Jason-yep I think Ferrin is fairly uncommon...yes that’s me! Looking forward to our tour with you.
Thanks unclegus-that sounds nice-looks like you have some great weather for your trip! It’s warmer there than in Tennessee ;)

No problem at all...my daughter has been going with us since age 9 :). I must have gone to a different beer garden - up from the train station in a park near Czech Tech and a tower. Where is the Letna garden or how would I get there?

letna Park is the other side of the river on a higher leverl,if you look over the river look for the Metronome and the. Beer garden is along a bit from there,it is close to the Technical museum
