I am planning a long trip for 2026 going through Poland and then to Bratislava. I will then be going to the Czech Republic and will be in Prague from June 1-8 and then fly back to the USA. I will be leaving Bratislava on 6/21 and have reservations in Prague for June 1. I will take a day trip to Kutna Hora from Prague.I want to go to Cesky Krumlov for 3 nights June 28,29, 30. I am interested in what would be good to do from June 22-July 1 which is my travel day to go to Prague. I looked at the Trebic, Telc, Trebon area and perhaps Moravsky Krumlov. (Is it really worth it to see the Slav Epic?) the area on the way to Cesky Krumlov. I thought about staying in Trebic and day tripping to a couple of other places. Or should i spend time in Brno and skip all of those little towns? Does anyone have any recommendations? I would like to stay in one town and take day trips during this phase so I am not packing up a lot. I am interested in Trebic because it hasn't changed much in 75 or more years. Thank you for any suggestions.

Has no one visited Trebic, Telc or Trebon in the Czech Republic? I am trying to get off the beaten path on the way to Cesky Krumlov from Bratislava.
Thanks for any input.
Thank you,

This forum tends to stay on the beaten path. I suggest you ask on trip advisor.
Thanks for the information.

We spent the night in Telc last summer. Very pleasant town. We spent a half day seeing the town. We did not visit the other towns you mentioned.
