We are will be spending three nights in C. Krumlov. One day we were considering rafting to the Zlata Koruna Abbey and biking back on the bike trail. First, does anyone know if it is sometimes warm enough weather to raft this route at this time of May? Also, has anyone biked that trail? How steep is it?

It's hard to say, at that time of year could be even hot, or somewhat cold and raining. But generally should be warm enough to raft. I have not biked that trail. But judging by a map: if the trail goes by the river it should be almost flat or just slightly uphill. But if it's by the road it looks quite hilly. But if they are offering this tour it should be bikeable by most people.
We floated down the river on a raft in May and it was overcast but warm. We wore shorts and t-shirts and made sure to bring a fleece jacket along because you might be cold when you get out of the river. You'll probably get wet when you go through the "chutes." The water was low when we went so we ended up having to drag our raft over some exposed river bottom. It was fun because a lot of people were out on the river and we talked to them (or tried to!) We stopped to have a beer at a hut along the way and met people there too. It was a fun day and a nice change of pace from churches and cathedrals. We didn't bike back so I can't give you an opinion on that. Have fun!
