Good heads up, thank you. I'll recheck transit to my train leaving Prague tomorrow. It's supposed to be nice; perhaps I will walk!

Our guide yesterday afternoon told us that vehicle traffic as we were driving back in towards Prague was unusually heavy.

He explained this is a sad loss as Karel Gott was well loved by many generations.

as you going to the main train station and if so from where ,maybe I can make a suggestion ,the concensus of opinion is to use the metro if you can.

I'm going from Na Poříčí in New Town which may not be as badly impacted, except if the trams are diverted from normal service - which may well be. If the tram doesn't appear I'll walk a few steps further to Florenc station and take Metro C.

Metro was a breeze this morning, Florenc to Hlavní nádraží. About 10 minutes door to door. Thanks again for the heads up and suggestions!
