Given the [valid] attitude of Europeans in general toward America under Trump, does anyone have suggestions on how my sister & I, both senior citizens, should dress and act during our trip to the Czech Republic this spring?
Don't wear your MAGA ball caps.
Seriously, just be your selves.
No red baseball caps please lol Maybe also clothes with big American flags,
in Sweden there is a movement to boycott American products
I suspect the average European will indifferent to you, just as most Americans are to tourists. Dress for the weather.
I have found most people in Europe are helpful, especially if you are respectful. Learn a few basic phrases of the local language.
No logos. Be polite.
Everyone in the world more or less dresses the same, now. Leave the pink Orlando visor at home and no one will know your nationality unless you speak. Also every place experiences political upheaval and they may have more understanding and have more perspective than you expect.
